Synopsis

No More Money is a visual novel game with a lot of choices and consequences. Everything started when our landlord lost his company and everybody is forced to move in a different city. Here we have to start from zero in a small apartment with only two bedrooms, so "unfortunately" you'll have to share a room with your younger roommate. Since you're already 20 years old, it's time for you to help the household however you can, so getting a job will be a priority.

If you’ve played more than a few AVNs, you’ve likely already played No More Money. It’s another rendition of the landlady/roommate formula with some other familiar tropes, like the MC somehow being involved in the world of organized crime. Unfortunately, the plot is so dependent on the characters being stupid, and the characters so predictable you’ll only get off on them based on the kink they represent.

But, I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t enjoy my time with it. Contrary to what the last paragraph led you to believe, I had a great time. Was it purely because of Tris? Perhaps. But I do appreciate it when your choices provoke subtle changes in the MC’s personality and dialogue and even influence the world around him with scenes you’d have missed otherwise. The LIs look great, the branching is actually underrated, and the kinks are satisfying. This is a good pallet cleanser AVN to turn off your brain to. So consider trying this out, as long as you don’t mind the absence of music or relatively short chapters.
